Over 1,300,000 MKD (app. 20,000 EUR) were donated by the employees of the pharmaceutical company Alkaloid Skopje on the traditional humanitarian picnic that took place in Skopje on Sunday, September 18th in Skopje. The funds will be donated for the treatment of the son of the employee, diagnosed with a very rare disease – an embryoblast brain tumor. Besides the employees, numerous representatives of the Faculty of Pharmacy – University St Cyril and Methodius Skopje, Drug Wholesaler Eurofarm and other partners and associates of Alkaloid took part in this event, which was organized by Alkaloid in collaboration with the Foundation “Trajche Mukaetov”.

The sixth humanitarian picnic coincided with the celebration of the company’s 80-year jubilee and, according to the organizers, it was the largest fundraising event that they have organized so far.
