The race is organized by 5 Cent Projects (Projekti 5 Cent) and will take place on 16th November at Zahir Pajaziti square in Prishtina. All the proceedings are meant for supplying gift packages for socially vulnerable families in Kosovo.
It’s that time of the year again - time to wrap up in your Santa suit, step outside and get ready to run. The suits and numbers for taking part in the race can be purchased at the price of EUR 10, at the booth in Zahir Pajaziti Square in Prishtina, every day.
The race “Run Santa Clause” (“Vrapo Babadimër”) is being held for the 3rd time this year. Last year’s mini-marathon made a huge success, helping around 350 families in 7 cities in Kosovo. This year, ambitions and hopes are even greater, but the intention has stayed the same: bringing holiday cheer to as many families as possible. Apart from purchasing the suit, you can also donate money to help this great cause.
And if you’ve already put on some holiday weight and don’t feel like running, you have no reason to worry! The event is also a great opportunity to just dress up as Santa, bring along the whole family and a few friends and enjoy some great music, lots of fun activities and stalls where you can buy food and gifts.
Make sure to pick up your Santa suit as soon as possible and get your running shoes ready for Sunday!
