Over 500 people danced the night of 1st November away in Pristina at an event organized by Action for Mothers and Children and raised a total of EUR 27,556.

The 4th time event was held at Sheshi 21 in Pristina and surpassed the success of all previous events. Money was raised through the sales of tickets for the event as well as donations given on the spot.

Behind the light-hearted nature of these now traditional events stands one very important cause. Action for Mothers and Children works towards improving the health of mothers and children in Kosovo, by providing necessary medical supplies and improving healthcare services and treatments. A special focus of the organization is preterm babies and tackling the existing problem of high mortality rate among young children.

Being the main sponsor of this event, the company Dairy Vita further demonstrated its social responsibility. The company has regularly donated dairy products to nonprofit organizations including the Down Syndrome Kosova Association and SOS Children’s Villages in Kosovo.

"It's exciting to see every year that the mission of the Action for Mothers and Children receives even more support from the community," said Mrika Aliu, Executive Director of the Foundation.

Several renowned musicians performed at the event making sure everyone who came in support of this great cause also had a party to remember.
