By selling used edible oil, they raise money for sick children

The Foundation "Daddies of Novi Sad" launched a humanitarian action to collect used edible oil and fat, and all the money is intended to treat sick children.

In just one month, they collected more than 100 liters of used oil, where they received 50 dinars for each liter from the purchasing company.

The collected oil is taken for further processing to one of the countries of the European Union, after which biodiesel is obtained as the final product.

The members of the association plan to include building managers in action to set up unique points for disposing of used oil at the entrances. That would facilitate its collection and reduce the congestion of the sewage network, they say in that association.
