The corporate volunteering project Addiko Cares was launched in continuation of marking this year’s International Children’s Day (20th November), and its main aim is precisely supporting children. The employees of the bank will visit 14 institutions by the end of the year, including kindergartens, schools, as well as institutions for helping children and adults with disabilities. The volunteers will give donations but also spend some time working in these institutions.

Volunteers will first visit Sarajevo and Visegrad, where they will engage in activities in the organization Pomozi.ba and Visegrad home for people with disabilities. After that, volunteers will visit Banjaluka, Mostar, Bihac, Doboj, Orasje, Celinac, Gradacac, Zvornik, Zenica, Novi Travink and Kiseljak.

"Children are the primary focus of our social responsibility strategy, and this year we’re running a number of initiatives, in which we are trying to involve our employees as much as possible, by giving them an opportunity to contribute by volunteering. This year, in cooperation with our colleagues from the business network, we have selected organizations and institutions which we are going to support. Employees at Addiko bank will visit these institutions in the following month, volunteer in them, present equipemtn and funds which we have raised”, said Sanela Pasic, Board President at Addiko Bank dd Sarajevo.

One of previous initiatives this year was the donation of GPS bracelets for children with autism at the organization Colilbri.

"Addiko Cares" is an initiative organized across all countries where members of Addiko Group are active, and its aim is to improve the quality of life within the community and motivate employees to directly participate in corporate social responsibility programs.
