The bread manufacturer provided a negatoscope, a device used for reading x-rays.
The equipment will help doctors at Kozle make faster and more precise diagnoses, which will also help secure better treatment subsequently.
“Air pollution is a current problem that causes many respiratory diseases. The most affected by the whole situation are the children and that is why, as a socially responsible company, we decided to direct our attention towards children's health institutions", said Lidija Trajkovska Ristevska, marketing manager at Zhito Luks.
Air pollution is a complex issue which can be tackled from several different perspectives. For example, the electric company EVN also made a contribution towards this cause last October, when it provided an electric car charger for Kichevo.
Zhito Luks has regularly supported the work of Institute for Pediatric Respiratory Diseases, and institute director Angelcho Andonovski pointed out that donations of contemporary equipment such as this is especially welcome, as it helps medical staff provide precise, fast and timely diagnoses.
In the previous year, the company also supported 3 other healthcare institutions for children - the children's departments in the General Hospital - Ohrid, the Clinical Hospital Dr. Trifun Panovski in Bitola and the General Hospital Strumica .
