The bank has designed a savings model which will last for two months and will provide clients with an opportunity to participate in the humanitarian campaign called “I am saving for life” to help the OTVORENA MREŽA (Open network) organization.

As an attempt to continue their philanthropic support in the most efficient way, they have decided to use an institutionalized approach in their efforts, in order to help citizens with serious health issues who are unable to afford medical treatment. The organization “Otvorena mreža” works to help those citizens, and this year, Sberbank is one of their donors: the bank will double the entire amount gathered, and transfer them to the organization’s account when the campaign is over. Previously, a similar campaign done by the bank and citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, saved the life of a 19-year-old boy.

Anyone who decides to start a savings account from October 16th to December 15th, and deposits a minimum amount of BAM 1,000 for 24 months in a fixed-rate bond savings, will directly help the campaign: the clients will donate 0.05% of the total amount of the interest paid by the bank. What makes this offer different is that the belonging interest of 0.85% will be paid in advance to the clients. The deposit may be done in BAM or EUR, and the interest rate is fixed.
