Traditionally and just before the Easter holidays, this year's charity action "Magic Easter Tree" which was organized for the sixth year in a row, was held from April 12th until April 27th in the Ramstore Mall in the city of Skopje.

This action was intended for the beneficiaries of the Day Care Center for Persons with Cerebral Palsy and the Day Care Center for People with Intellectual Disability over 18 years "Spring", and was organized and made possible thanks to the Red Cross of the City of Skopje and Ramstore Mall in cooperation with PI Inter-Municipal Center for Social Affairs of the City of Skopje, and supported by Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje.

The gifts from the charity action that were collected with the help of the visitors of Ramstore Mall were handed over to the users of the Day Care Center for People with Cerebral Palsy and the Day Care Center for People with Intellectual Disability over 18 "Spring", thus fulfilling their modest wishes. and greeted the gifts with smiles on the eve of the Easter holidays.

The organizers thanked all those who took part in this charity action, and also encourage the others who failed to get involved in this action this year, in the future to be part of events of this nature, so that we can jointly raise awareness of overcoming prejudices and stereotypes about people with disabilities.

All visitors to Ramstore Mall had the opportunity to choose one or more paper Easter eggs from the "Magic Easter Tree", on which are written the wishes of the users of the Daily Center for People with Cerebral Palsy and the Daily Center for People with Intellectual Disability over XNUMX years "Spring" and to fulfill someone's wish.

Wishes in the form of lanterns are hung on the tree. Wishes are modest and symbolic. For us it is a little and it is not difficult to fulfill, but for them it means a lot. They usually want clothes, and I'm glad that someone 's wish never came true. I would like to express my gratitude to the humane citizens and to the socially responsible companies for that, says Mario Stojkovski, from the Red Cross of the City of Skopje.

In previous years, the gifts were given at a big party, but this year, due to the pandemic situation, the party was absent, and the gifts were handed over by the Red Cross volunteers. Additionally, the Red Cross will place an Eid flower that will have the same purpose – to fulfill wishes.
