Famous Croatian skier Ivica Kostelić has joined the expedition that will cross Greenland on foot. Ivica who is a four time Olympic silver medalist is using this endeavor to promote Međimurje County Down Syndrome Association, and collect 20,000 HRK for their activities. Through the Vipnet online social network for humanitarian crowdfunding named Do the Right Thing, people can follow Ivica 550 kilometers long journey and donate. So far 12,845 HRK (over 1,700 EUR) is collected, so hopefully 20,000 HRK (approx. 2,700 EUR) goal will be reached by the end of Ivica effort.
