Human Rights Committee from Majdanpek (Serbia) could soon stop their charitable activities if they don't get needed support. In particular, they need funds for the gas so they could distribute food to families in need and for building a playroom for children with disabilities.
For two years now, twice a week, they are distributing free fruits and vegetables from Delhaize's supermarkets to their neighbors in need, primarily families with children. All HRC's staff are actually volunteers and they have been using their own funds up until now. In order for them to continue their work, they need more support.
At the same time, they are also trying to raise funds for an inclusive playroom for children with disabilities, which would be the first of that kind in their municipality.
