Amir Bucolli is diagnosed with a rare disease that threatens his life, called Acromegaly, and is caused by a tumor located in pituitary gland.
The surgical intervention was successfully done once in Tirana, however further intervention is required as soon as possible and is the only time that it can be done to save his life. The only hospitals specialized in this field who possess the necessary resources for the cure of this disease are in United States of America (UCSF, University of Michigan Center and Cleveland Clinic).
The surgical intervention costs over 150.000 USD. Amir and his family need 80.000 USD to successfully close this journey.
