The campaign has raised a total of EUR 20,000 (USD 23,105), which makes 513% of its initial goal. The book the publication of which was made possible through the campaign will be published in February 2019.

The campaign was launched on Indiegogo in September and in one month it has overwhelmingly surpassed its initial goal, with the support of 561 donors from all over the world. The main goal of the campaign was to raise funds for printing the book #ŽeneBiH which features biographies of women from Bosnia and Herzegovina who have broken stereotypes, improved women's rights and stood for the cause of greater emancipation. Additionally, the book also includes original illustrations of Bosnian women artists.

The campaign was finished on 10th October and the authors, Amila, Hatidža and Maša, have made a public announcement today on Facebook thanking everyone who has donated, shared news of the campaign on their social media, ambassadors of the project, as well as those who have talked about it in public.

"This is our joint success. Any extra funds we have raised will be used for printing additional copies of the book and giving them away to libraries in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our wish is for this book to reach as many people as possible, including those who were not able to donate during our crowdfunding campaign, but would like to read the book", said Hatidža Gušić.

Apart from the extraordinary success of the campaign itself, its social impact is also remarkable. Due to the attention the campaign has drawn, important topics like the importance of women's history and emancipation have also been placed in the public eye.

"The goal of this campaign was not just raising financial means for the book's publication. We also wanted to use it as a way of starting a conversation on important historical achievements of women in the public space", said Maša Duraklić.

Everyone who has donated can expect their copy of the book (as well as additional perks) in February next year. Until then, there is no doubt that the conversation on important women will be continued throughout the region. This was already the case when the authors of #ŽeneBiH took part in the VoxFeminae festival in Zagreb on 7th October. At the event the authors also met with the creators of a similar project - the board game Fierce Women
