There is an ongoing crowdfunding campaign for the final stages of shooting a documentary film called “Leap”, about Nataša Kovačević, the setting up a monument to the greats of Serbian basketball and the roots of a sport friendship between Serbia and France, and to open a basketball school for girls that will be led by Nataša Kovačević Foundation.

Nataša is a famous serbian basketball player who interrupted her sports career because of a serious road accident due to which she had her leg amputated, after which she returned to the court as a player for Crvena Zvezda (Red Star basketball club). The feature-length documentary film “Leap” is a story about her return, but also about her mission to awaken a fighting spirit and motivation to overcome obstacles in people who are in similar situations. Nataša’s return to the basketball court was so much more than a comeback - it became history and an inspiration to people around the world.

National team coach Aleksandar Đorđević, and many other celebrities and institutions have already supported the campaign, and you can join them on their Indiegogo page.
