Through the “Round up your Bill” campaign Meridian Express supermarkets allowed its customers to add money to their purchase bill, in order to support SOS Children’s Village.
The campaign ran for the 5th time, and raised a total of EUR 3,622. With a 5 year tradition, the campaign is quite well know to Meridian customers and many of them were happy to support children without parents living in the SOS Children’s Village.
“SOS Children's Village in Kosovo thanks Meridian Express and all its customers for their support. With your support and assistance we can continue to provide a warm family for children without parental care and children at risk”, said Albana Zogu, Head of Fundraising at SOS Children's Village.
The funds were presented to the SOS Children’s Village in Prishtina and will be distributed to other Children’s Villages in Kosovo. SOS Children’s Villages have been operating in Kosovo since 1999 and has since provided care for over 1500 children.
