Forum for Civic Initiatives (FIQ) has granted this year’s awards for the philanthropic contributions of individuals, organizations and companies in Kosovo. The awards are granted to those who systematically contribute to preserving the environment, culture, and traditional values with sensitivity through projects serving the common good.

On Wednesday, 22 December 2021, at 8 PM in Pristina, Forum for Civic Initiatives announced the names of the winners of the FIDES 2021 awards at a modest ceremony.

 

Award winners in three categories

 

  • FIDES Award for a contribution at the national level “Hasan Prishtina” has been granted to Sanie Desku. The award is granted to companies, individuals or nonprofits for philanthropic activity at the national level.
  • FIDES Award for diaspora contributions has been granted to Mark Kosmos. This award is given for individual philanthropy.
  • FIDES Award for corporate contributions has been granted to the IPKO company. The award is granted for investing in the environment and providing strategic support to education and healthcare.

The FIDES awards ceremony was organized by the Forum for Civic Initiatives, and the winners were chosen by an independent jury according to established criteria.
