Throughout the Western Balkans, numerous actions of solidarity and aid collection for the victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria were launched immediately after the quake.

BH Telecom donated 150,000 KM to help the people of Turkey and Syria

The BH Telecom company donated 150,000 KM to the Pomozi.ba Association to help the distressed people of Turkey and Syria. This is the largest donation so far in Bosnia and Herzegovina for victims of earthquakes.

The funds will be directed to purchasing mobile homes for housing people.

The Pharmamed company donated 10,000 creams for the children of Turkey and Syria

The company Pharmamed, whose headquarters are located in Travnik, donated 10,000 creams for the protection and care of children's skin for children in Syria and Turkey.

By selling tea, Benjamin collected nearly 1,600 KM to help earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria

The boy Benjamin Mehanović paid 1,583 KM, which he collected by selling tea, to help the victims of the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.

Action to collect toys for the children of Turkey and Syria

Association Pomozi.ba launched an action to collect aid for children affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria to make everyday life a little easier for boys and girls who were left without everything at one point.

You can support the campaign by donating new or well-preserved toys and delivering them to the association's address in Sarajevo (Dr. Fetaha Bećirbegovića 8, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.).

Toy donations are also possible at the association's Travnik, Bihać, Mostar, and Sanski Most offices.

The action will last a minimum of one month, and in cities where we don't have offices, people can organize even if larger amounts are collected, they say from Pomozi.ba.

The Mostar National Theater launched a humanitarian action to help the people of Turkey and Syria, which suffered a great tragedy after the devastating earthquakes.

In this regard, on Friday, February 24, at 8 p.m., a humanitarian performance of the play Goodbye, California! written by Emina Kovačević, directed by Lajla Kaikčia. The ticket price is 10 KM, and the funds collected from the purchased tickets will be donated to help Turkey and Syria.

 

The support of a ninety-one-year-old woman

Ninety-one-year-old Milka, a beneficiary of the humanitarian association Pomozi.ba, services, donated a symbolic sum to help people in Syria and Turkey.

Given that we bring a ready-made meal to her doorstep every day, we don't even have to talk about her difficult health and financial condition. On the other side, that didn't stop her from using her minimal income, from which she can't even afford everything she needs should set aside ten KM for people who experienced a great tragedy- they wrote from the aforementioned humanitarian association.

The football players of Željezničar from Sarajevo did their morning training last week in the warehouse of the Pomozi.ba Humanitarian Association.

The Firdeus Foundation provided 100 tons of aid

Following the devastating earthquake in Turkey, the Firdeus foundation, through the help of its regular donors, has collected aid for the people affected by this earthquake. As a result, so far, 100 tons of aid in food, clothing, hygiene items, and other required materials have been collected and delivered through 5 trucks prepared by the foundation staff from Istanbul. The foundation founder, Elvis Naci, and his team have also mentioned that they will stay in Turkey for as long as help is required to prepare and deliver aid to affected families.

Ambra Ceka from Tirana, who is studying medicine at Ankara University of Health Sciences, donated money from a scholarship she receives from the Turkish state.

Different Weekend helps with its community
