Despite the post-pandemic challenges, philanthropic activity in 2021 returned to a similar level as in 2019.


For what purposes does Kosovo donate?


Education was the most frequently supported theme, followed by seasonal giving, while the giving for social entrepreneurship generated the largest share of the donated amount.

Generous individuals remained the most active donor in 2021, with a share of almost half of all donation instances. Most of these donations were from donors from the diaspora.
