Giving Kosovo
Giving Kosovo is part of Giving Balkans - a unique database on philanthropy in the Western Balkans, which provides the most up-to-date and comprehensive information on giving in the Western Balkans.
Giving Kosovo operates within CEA (The Citizen Engagement Activity Program). The Citizen Engagement Activity is a five-year USAID-funded program aimed to support CSOs to build constituencies through a people-centered approach, diversify their resource and partner base, affect change by connecting different actors around locally driven development solutions, and enhance government accountability.

Philanthropy Stories - This section is divided into three parts: Philanthropy News, where we showcase inspirational stories about giving in Kosovo; Philanthropy Interviews - stories about successful nonprofit organizations from Kosovo; Blog section that is full of educational content, advice, and best practices for nonprofit organizations.

The Giving Kosovo database consists of 3 components:
- State of Philanthropy Reports for the period from 2015 to 2022 and reports about giving to nonprofits for 2021 and 2022. Our reports are an essential resource for anyone who wants to understand the landscape of philanthropy in Kosovo better.
- Stories about philanthropy. This section is divided into three parts:
- Highlights section, where we showcase inspiring stories of giving in Kosovo
- Philanthropy Interviews - successful stories about nonprofits from Kosovo
- The blog section that is packed with educational content, tips, and best practices for nonprofits.
